Last week we had a big ultrasound and eventhough I was determined NOT to find out, David really wanted to know--- so we found out that It's a BOY!!!!!
We are all very excited- even Brooklynn who calls him "Marco"--- we aren't sure where she got that name from, but she has been calling the baby a boy for the entire pregnancy. She's prophetic! :) te heeeee
The girls and I did a "March for babies" with some people from my work. Brooklynn actually loved it- Jelly was a grinch most of the time! But it was well worth it. For more info on the amazing work they do, visit http://www.marchofdimes.com/
Doesn't look much like a baby, but hey we're still young!
The circle is the yolk sac ('lunchbox for baby') and the 'blob' is the little embryo!!! She/he is upside down- the head is against the sac wall and the bum is up in the air.
Heart rate is 167 bpm (Normal heart rate at 6 weeks is around 90-110 beats per minute (bpm) and at 9 weeks is 140-170 bpm). We are measuring 7 weeks, 4 days--- almost exactly what the calendar says it should be.
After seeing a strong heartbeat, the chance of miscarrying goes down to 4%... so that makes me feel a lot better. Of course I still have 5 weeks to go until I am feeling 'secure'. For now I just have to keep the faith that we're going to be ok. :)

After waiting for-ever (in Bee's eyes), we brought our kittens home from Grammy's. Leia is the light grey girl and Chierpa (ewok name!) is the dark grey boy.
The girls were SO pretty in their Easter dresses! Bees hair was not cooperating today! Not much candy this year-but lots of fun goodies in their 'baskets'!
